Rachel Grey-Summers (Phoenix, Marvel Girl) Costume Concept/Rescue
She’s back with the X-Men (hooray!), and at least she’s not dressing like Mom… But, after surviving a dystopian future and a long exile in space, you’d think she’d be dressed to party - not wearing a bulky segmented trench coat with spikes and a fringed tail. It probably takes 99% of her telekinetic power to manage that thing so she can walk down the halls of the X-Mansion without knocking over all the antiques.
Also, why would the fiery avatar of the Phoenix force need a utility belt? Just sayin’.

The killer is in the building!!!
No, wait… It’s worse than that.
The killer IS the building!
She locks the doors for you, keeps the beer cold, and lord help you, she probably sees what you look at on the internet. Danger is the ghost in the machine, a sentient computer program running the X-Men’s “Danger Room.” Just, you know, a high-tech training facility built to try and KILL every person who walked in the door. The X-Men never knew she was buried in the wires going stir crazy until she flew off the rails and became quite a horror show.
The X-Men won back their home, and Danger got over herself. But now, when Wolverine kicks back with his iPad 2 to spend his day off watching VH1 Classic, he’s got to wonder.. Who’s watching back? -
