1. THE FALCON Sam Wilson spent his days as a social worker in Harlem. At night, he took his crusade to the streets fighting crime. He’d always had the ability to communicate with birds, but a special high-tech suit allowed him to soar by their side. Still, as high as he could fly, there was always something “street-level” about Falcon. He served as Captain america’s partner for many years, lending credibility and vitality to a hero who could have easily been seen as corny and out-of touch. The two of them were from different worlds, but shared a passion for justice and had an undeniable chemistry that was obvious whether they were beating up back-alley thugs, thwarting Nazi invasions, or just riding around together through the streets of Brooklyn on Cap’s motorcycle.
