When life gives you lemons… Make lemonade!
Who doesn’t hate hearing that?! As if squishing lemons is some sort of clever breakthrough in science, to say nothing of the fact that it’d be kind of nasty lemonade without a lot of sugar. And if life gives you sugar, you can do a lot more than just make lemonade. What is the point here?? And what does this have to do with Nightcrawler?

Well, life gave him a whole lot of lemons. His mom (who was already established as a pretty serious beyotch) tossed him in a river right after he was born. He had blue skin, pointy ears, 3-fingered hands, forked feet, and a pointy tail, and she didn’t want some crazy demon-baby crimping her style. He ended up with a nice Gypsy family and a circus, but let’s face it: If you look like that, things aren’t going to be easy for you.

But Kurt Wagner didn’t just make lemonade. He didn’t just make some nice friends who accepted him for the person he was inside. He charmed the hell out of EVERYONE, and used his striking looks to highlight how much being “different” isn’t just OK - It’s awesome.

Quick with a joke, sharp as a knife in a fight, and by all accounts *great* in the sack, Nightcrawler basically took those lemons and made a spectacular lemon sorbet, served with grilled plums, a sprig of basil, and a balsamic ginger reduction sauce, that’s so good you sort of black out a little bit when you taste it, like getting a kiss from an expert.
